Tabs and splits
Each tab is its own session: scrollback, folder, history, MCP servers, and OpenAI connection. Switching tabs leaves a running command where it is.
Add, rename, close
+ adds a tab in the start folder. Right-click for Rename and Change colour. Middle-click, ×, or Close removes the tab. Closing the last tab resets it.
Ctrl+Tab moves to the next tab. Ctrl+Shift+Tab moves to the previous one. Both wait while a palette or a dialog is open.
Split panes
Cmd+\ on macOS, Ctrl+\ on Windows and Linux, @split, or right-click Split with next tab shows two tabs side by side. A lone tab gets a new tab to pair with.
Each pane keeps its own folder, history, and running command. An interactive terminal stays in its own half. Click a pane to make it the one the prompt types into. That pane is underlined in the accent colour.
Switching to a tab outside the pair shows that tab alone. Going back to either tab of the pair brings the pair back. Press the shortcut again, or Close split, for one pane. Closing either tab ends the split.
