Command history
↑ and ↓ cycle the commands on this tab when no palette is open. The app keeps the last 500 in command_history.json in the app data folder. Each entry is the command and at, Unix epoch milliseconds. An older file that was a plain list of strings is migrated on load (at: 0 shows as an unknown time).

@history
@history, or History on the rail, opens an overlay above the prompt: a number, the command, and a muted date and time. Esc dismisses it.
The default is Insert into prompt. You edit, then press Enter. Settings → On history select can switch that to Run immediately. The preference is in localStorage key ai-terminal-settings.
A history line that contains a masked secret (••••••••) is inserted. It is not re-run.
A line that starts with
# find files over 100 MB hereThe tab’s OpenAI connection turns that into one command for your shell, your OS, and your folder. The command is placed in the prompt with a short note on anything it changes. Press Enter to run it, or edit it first. Nothing runs on its own.
This needs an OpenAI connection selected on the tab. Ask the model covers @explain and @agent, which are the other ways to involve the model without pasting a secret into the prompt.
