Two places hold state. The data folder is this machine. The workspace folder is what you commit.

The keychain service is com.garrardkitchen.ai-terminal. An AES-256-GCM fallback file lives in this folder when the keychain cannot be used. Do not edit it to plant a token.
termorq-cli --data-dir points at this folder. termorq-cli models and termorq-cli tools use it. Checks and environment variables for a headless run come from --workspace, not from this folder.

termorq-cli --workspace is the folder that contains .ai-terminal, not the .ai-terminal directory itself. The path is absolute or starts with ~.

Passwords are at least 12 characters and are not stored.
YAML beside the app
skills.yaml and commands.yaml ship with the app. A checkout uses the copies at the repo root while CARGO_MANIFEST_DIR or the working directory points there. Edit, then restart.
A plan file for termorq-cli run --file is schema 1 and is not written back. The shape is on Run a collection.
