Report AI content
Every AI response in the scrollback can be reported: an @explain fix, a # command, a / skill, a @chat or @agent answer, or an interpreted tool result. Reporting is in every edition. The report opens in your own email app, addressed to garrardkitchen@gmail.com, and a copy is saved on this machine first. Termorq sends nothing itself.

Open the form
There are four ways in. Each opens the same Report AI content form.
| Where | What it reports |
|---|---|
| Report flag on an AI response, beside Copy | That response. The buttons show on hover and on keyboard focus |
@ palette → Report an AI issue | The newest AI response in this tab |
@report | The newest AI response in this tab. @report 2 is the one before it |
| Settings → AI → Report an AI issue… | The newest AI response in the active tab |
@report
@report 2With no AI response in the tab, @report says so and nothing opens:
Nothing to report: there is no AI response in this tab yet. Use the Report flag on a response, or run @report after one. What the form captures
When a response is generated, Termorq records the endpoint, deployment and provider of the connection that produced it, and the prompt, on that line. Switching the tab to another connection later does not change what a report says. The API key is never recorded.
The form shows these as locked text, not fields you can edit:
| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| Endpoint | https://contoso-ai.openai.azure.com/ |
| Deployment | gpt-4o |
| Provider | Azure OpenAI, or OpenAI-compatible |
| App version | The version in the window header |
| Edition | Free or Pro, plus Microsoft Store on a Store install |
| Timestamp (UTC) | 2026-10-17T06:29:14Z |
Warning: if you remove or change any of the captured information below, we will not be able to action your issue.
You fill in:
- Category, required: Harmful, Offensive, Inaccurate / misleading, Sexual, Self-harm, or Other.
- Details, required: what was wrong.
- Reply-to email, optional, if you’d like a reply.
- Include my prompt, on by default. Untick it to leave the prompt out of the email and the saved copy.
The quoted response and prompt have secret-looking values masked, the same way @export does.
Send it
Open in email app saves the report, then opens a new email with the address, the subject TERMORQ - AI CONTENT - REPORT AN ISSUE and the body filled in. Press Send in your email app. A toast reads Report saved and email opened.
Copy report saves the report, then copies the address, subject and full body. Paste it into any email to garrardkitchen@gmail.com. Use it when no email app is set up. A toast reads Report saved and copied.
The body ends with a block you should leave as it is:
Warning: if you remove or change any of the captured information below, we will not be able to action your issue.

Report-ID: ai-report-20261017-062914
Timestamp: 2026-10-17T06:29:14Z
Provider: Azure OpenAI
Endpoint: https://contoso-ai.openai.azure.com/
Deployment: gpt-4o
Version: 0.35.0
Edition: Pro (Microsoft Store)
API key: not included
--- End ---An email link longer than about 2,000 characters is unreliable on Windows. The counter under the form shows the length. Over the limit, the quoted response is shortened first, then the prompt, with a note that the full text is in the saved file. If the email app does not open, or the report still does not fit, the report is copied instead and a message says so.
The saved copy
Both buttons write two files before anything opens:
reports/ai-report-20261017-062914.json
reports/ai-report-20261017-062914.mdThe name is the UTC time. A second report in the same second gets -2. The JSON has the full response and prompt, never shortened, and has no key field.
The reports folder is under the app data folder. The form and Settings show the path the app resolved.
| Install | Folder |
|---|---|
| Windows installer | %APPDATA%\com.garrardkitchen.ai-terminal\reports |
| Windows, Microsoft Store | %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\<package family>\LocalCache\Roaming\com.garrardkitchen.ai-terminal\reports |
| macOS | ~/Library/Application Support/com.garrardkitchen.ai-terminal/reports |
| Linux | ~/.local/share/com.garrardkitchen.ai-terminal/reports |
A Store install redirects writes under %APPDATA% into its package folder. Open folder and Open reports folder open that redirected folder, so you see the files that were written.
Settings
Settings → AI → Report AI content shows the reports folder, Open reports folder, Report an AI issue…, the number of saved reports, and this statement:
Reporting inappropriate AI content
You can report an AI response from the flag on the response, the command palette, or
@report. Your report opens in your own email app and must include the endpoint and deployment name used, the app version, and the response you’re reporting, along with your description. If you remove or change any of this captured information, we will not be able to action your issue. Your API key is never included. A copy of every report is saved to your app data folder. The AI provider is one you’ve chosen and configured yourself. Termorq doesn’t host or control the model, so we can’t change its output directly. We will take appropriate steps, on a best-endeavours basis, using the information you provide, and we may give you guidance to help resolve the issue, such as changing your system prompt, deployment or content filter settings, or reporting it to your provider.
In an edition without model features, the same group is its own Report AI content section in Settings.
